Plants will tremble before my might! I will crush them! Er…grow them! Yes. Nurture them, even.

OCCUPATION
I’m a definite jack of many trades. I write, perform in and direct plays. I gather other people’s spoken stories in an attempt to get on the radio. I am an executive assistant at a local HIV/AIDS housing organization. I freelance in a number of other ways.
GARDENING EXPERIENCE
When I was a child I had a little garden on the hill at my house. I grew beans well and failed at carrots and potatoes. I didn’t do much with it, and I think my parents really did the hard work. More recently, I’ve just tended a small herb garden.
WHAT I WANT TO DO
Grow produce and herbs that I will use to cook. I cook quite a lot, and most of what I do is traditional Italian or modern fusion. I’m not into preserving and canning, so I won’t be shooting for an excess. I’ll be gardening from a raised bed I’ve built.
WHAT I’M PLANTING
I’ll do an initial planting, then a succession planting (mid-summer, probably), then a late planting of things I’ll over-winter. I am growing:
WHAT IT HAS COST
